At Hillcrest Baptist Church there's something for everyone. Here are the varied ministries you can participate in.

Sunday School

We have classes for all ages:

Nursery & Toddler Room (open during every church service)
Kindergarten
Primaries (1st - 3rd grade)
Juniors (4th - 6th grade)
Youth (7th - 12th grade)
Daughters of Naomi (for ladies single/divorced/attend church without a spouse)
Various Adult Classes

Bible Studies

We have a few Bible studies to choose from at Hillcrest. study the words of Jesus Christ

"First Place" - This is a Bible-based weight loss program that focuses on putting Christ "first place" in all aspects of life, including diet. The emphasis here is on Bible study. The study meets Saturdays at the church with weigh-in starting at 8:00 a.m. and going until about 9:30.
Ladies Bible Study - This is a small group that meets each Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. to fellowship, study the Word, and pray for one another.
Sunday School - Our Sunday School classes are a great way to get involved in Bible study. They also help you participate in a smaller group in the church to get to know the people of our church on a more personal level. Sunday School meets each Sunday at 9:30 a.m.
Discipleship - We always have one-on-one discipleship studies available to people who desire to grow deeper in their relationship with Christ, whether led by one of our pastors or a layperson.

The Bible, the words of Jesus Christ Counseling

If you are in need of counseling, we have pastors and lay people who have been trained in NANC counseling (National Association of Nouthetic Counselors). Our counselors can use the Word of God to help you apply it to any of life's situations. At Hillcrest we believe God's Word is sufficient for every trial.

Word of Life Olympians & Gopher Buddies church youth camp

This fall we will begin our new Word of Life Gopher Buddies & Olympians Bible Clubs. These are Wednesday night clubs for Pre-school - 6th grade. It is a time of singing, Bible lessons, games and helping children understand how they can have a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

Word of Life Student Ministries

We are entering into our new Word of Life Student Ministries under the direction of Pastor Keith Byars and his wife Judy. This is a ministry that is meant to use God's Word to challenge our teens concerning current youth issues and to disciple them in a deeper relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

Evangelism

At Hillcrest we believe witnessing should be a way of life. That's why we use the evangelism course written by Ray Comfort "The Way of the Master"
